Varun Dhawan’s film Baby John finally released its trial version on Monday, and Karan Johar was all praises for the actor! Find out what he said.

Varun Dhawan will soon be seen in the high-octane action drama Baby John, which will release on Christmas. Much to the delight of fans, the makers finally released the trial version of the movie today, and it was everything fans were hoping for! Not just fans, filmmaker Karan Johar was also impressed with the test cut of Baby John and praised his ‘student’ Varun Dhawan.

Soon after the trial version of Baby John was revealed, Karan Johar shared it on his Instagram story. Along with the video, KJo also praised Varun Dhawan, referring to him as his ‘student’. Calling it a Christmas bonanza, he also congratulated the Baby John team. “What a simple student!!!! @varundvn Dhamaal macha diya! Christmas bonanza!!! Congratulations team BABY JOHN!!!!!!,” Karan wrote.

For the unversed, Varun Dhawan Dhawan made his acting debut with Karan Johar’s 2012 teen film ‘Student of the Year’ alongside Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra. He played the role of Rohan Nanda in the film.

On the occasion of Diwali, the makers have unveiled a motion poster of Baby John, revealing the first look of Varun Dhawan in the film. Before this, Jackie Shroff’s appearance as the villain Babbar Sher was also released. Varun had shared the first look of Jackie Shroff along with a caption that read, “Get ready to face the darkness you never saw coming… The evil of #BabyJohn! #BabbarSher is coming for you!”

In Baby John, Varun Dhawan leads an impressive cast, including Jackie Shroff, Keerthy Suresh, Wamika Gabbi and Rajpal Yadav. The trailer of the film is attached in theaters with Diwali entertainers Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa3, where the audience can witness this big-ticket marvel.

Presented by Jio Studios in association with Atlee and Cine1 Studios, Baby John is an A-line production for Apple Studios and Cine1 Studios. Directed by Kalees, the film will hit theaters on December 25, 2024.
