Spirit Lake Reservation woman charged with involuntary manslaughter and child neglect

BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) – The U.S. Attorney’s Office in North Dakota announced that a woman on the Spirit Lake Reservation has been charged with involuntary manslaughter and child neglect.

Prosecutors say Tierra Scott of Tokyo was driving under the influence with children in the car when she struck and killed a man.

She will stand trial on December 10.
