Dina Manzo’s ex-husband Tommy’s prison sentence explained

According to a press release, the court sentenced Dina’s ex-husband, Tommy, to seven years in prison for “hiring a Lucchese Crime Family soldier and then assisting in the assault of his ex-wife’s current husband.” He made the deal in exchange for hosting a free wedding reception for the crowd.

Tommy underwent a two-and-a-half week trial in federal court in Newark and was ultimately found guilty. He was convicted of three felonies and will serve a total of 84 months in prison. He currently faces charges including aiding and abetting racketeering, conspiracy to commit a violent crime in aid of racketeering, and falsifying and concealing documents related to a federal investigation.

After his conviction, Dina took to her Instagram Story to share her thoughts on the situation, without alluding to Thomas. Her quote read: “I call my power back to me. I call my energy back to me. I call my magic back to me. I am cleansed and disconnected from everything that can exhaust me.”

The story continues: “I am protected from any energy that does not serve me. I am safe. I am protected. I am whole. And it is” (via People).

Previous reports also accused Tommy of being involved in Dina and Cantin’s home invasion in 2017. The attack left the couple with several injuries and the perpetrators also stole their personal belongings. Authorities later took James Mainello into custody for his alleged connection to the incident.
