Gregg Wallace takes wife Anna on holiday after investigation into ‘inappropriate sexual comments’ is revealed

GREGG Wallace has taken wife Anna on holiday after it emerged he was under investigation for “sexual comments” towards a female colleague at the BBC.

This week The Sun revealed how Gregg was warned by the BBC for making “inappropriate sexual comments” backstage on game show Impossible Celebrities.

Now the Masterchef presenter, 59, has revealed he and Anna, 37, have flown away amid the controversy.

He took to Instagram to tell his followers: “No at 7 live. I’m out with Anna.”

Greg then shared a photo of the couple on the plane and wrote: “Anna is curious xx.”

He and fourth wife Anna tied the knot in 2016 and are parents to son Sid, four.

The Impossible Celebrities incident in 2018 previously went unreported until someone came forward to The Sun last week.

A source told us: “The BBC took immediate action and Gregg was called in to meet with them.

“He made it clear that he didn’t mean anything by what he said, but that he was being read the riot act and had to change his behavior.”

Yesterday, Gregg’s Masterchef co-host John Torode came under fire for a comment he made to Cat Deeley while appearing on This Morning.

During a cooking segment, John was making toad in the hole when he joked: “I never thought I’d say to Cat Deeley, ‘Here’s a little sausage for you, darling.'”

Cat, 47, made a face at the camera but was undeterred as she continued to present the live daytime show.

One furious viewer said: ‘Why is John Torode’s co-star the bald one getting in trouble for sexual innuendo when he said live on ITV today with Cat Deeley.

“Make sure he is fired too. Women should stop tolerating these disgusting sexual comments…!”
