In a remarkable show of compassion, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde stopped his convoy to help a seriously injured person on the BKC bridge while traveling from Mumbai to Thane. The incident occurred late in the night of November 1, following a meeting at the official residence of Chief Minister Varsha Bangalow. As CM Shinde’s vehicle approached the bridge, he saw an injured man on the road with a motorcycle nearby, indicating that he had been involved in an accident.

Recognizing the urgency of the situation, CM Shinde immediately ordered his convoy to stop and stepped out to assess the scene. Upon reaching the injured youth, the Chief Minister learned that the man had sustained injuries in a motorcycle accident.

Without hesitation, Shinde summoned a team of doctors to accompany him. They quickly administered first aid to the victim and arranged for him to be transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

This moving act has attracted significant attention, especially after a video of the incident went viral on social media.

The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) later confirmed the details and praised Shinde for his sensitivity, noting that even amid the frenetic pace of the election campaign, he showed genuine concern for the well-being of an injured individual.
