You wouldn’t know it from the way they interacted Friday night during the Hornets’ game against the Celtics.

With just over two minutes left in the game and Boston up 114-105, Tatum grabbed a defensive rebound and looked to get the ball up the court. As he approached center court, Williams controlled Tatum’s body and sent him to the ground.

Tatum appeared perturbed by the play, although he took no action against Williams.

However, the referees did, charging Williams with a flagrant foul 2 and ejecting him from the game.

Williams finished her evening with six points and seven rebounds in 30 minutes, while Tatum scored 32 points and 11 rebounds in 36 minutes.

The Celtics ended up winning 124-109 to move to 5-1 on the season.
