BANGOR, Maine (WABI) – A Bangor man will spend more than five years in prison for committing sex crimes against two minors.

Roch Gallant, 65, was sentenced Friday in a Bangor court. He previously pleaded no contest to unlawful sexual contact and sexual abuse of a minor.

He will serve five and a half years behind bars followed by 12 years of probation.

Gallant was initially arrested in 2021 and faced dozens of charges related to sex crimes that prosecutors say occurred between 2011 and 2019. After his no contest plea, the other charges were dropped.
