A man arrested in connection with the death of a woman in Glasgow has been charged.

Sandie Butler was found seriously injured after police were called to reports of a disturbance in the St Mungo Avenue area of ​​the city at around 12.55pm on Tuesday.

The 40-year-old man died a short time later.

A 53-year-old man was arrested Friday before being charged in connection with the death.

He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday 4 November 2024.
