Megan added of her mental state before Lanez’s sentencing: “I had a real breakdown. I didn’t feel like my life had any kind of value. I had to call 911 because I couldn’t breathe. I thought I was about to die.

“It was like three days in bed. I just cried every day. I would never have been a suicidal person… but I felt that way. I thought, ‘I’d rather not live through this than have to live through this.’”

Megan also tells in her documentary how she “forgot” who she was after taking her mother off life support.

The rapper lost her mother, Holly Thomas, to a brain tumor in March 2019, and after being hospitalized, she said she felt forced to “pull her off” because she knew her mother wouldn’t have wanted to stay alive while she was dead. cerebral.
