Shreveport Arts Group to Auction Guitar Signed by Taylor Swift ERAS Tour

Sky CEO Pam Atchison announced on November 1 that a guitar signed by Taylor Swift will be auctioned live at the Christmas in the Sky “LIVE” auction on December 14. “Christmas in the Sky: It’s Vegas Baby!” is a fundraiser for the Shreveport Regional Arts Council, organized by 500 volunteers. The event at Louisiana Downs is a highly anticipated party every two years.

Atchison said Swift’s guitar is from the ERAS tour, which was heard around the world, including New Orleans.

The instrument is one of 25 incredible items at the popular auction where items sell for top dollar.

“It’s an incredible collector’s item,” Atchison said.

The live auction takes place at 24 Karat Club Live Auction and welcomes high rollers to place sky-high bids on luxurious luxuries. A Golden Paddle drawing guarantees the winner a $10,000 bid credit.

SRAC produces Sky under the direction of president Heidi Kallenberg, with Elizabeth Kennedy and Ro White as co-presidents. The production team is led by Sky’s veteran design president, Linda B. Goldsberry, and sponsorship president is Carolyn Marston Brazzel. Henry Price is the president of the SRAC. Primary Sponsors: Dr. Michael T. Acurio and Louisiana Downs.

The evening also includes a silent auction, sets designed by local artists that complement the theme, buffets, bars and entertainment.
