New Agatha All Around Video Makes Big Reveal About That Mysterious Car Wreck, Confirms Teen’s Real Name

One of the greatest mysteries of the 2024 TV season has finally been addressed, with Joe Locke’s Teen dropping his Agatha all the time facade to reveal that he is actually the Scarlet Witch’s magical son Billy. (Not exactly the best kept secret, considering toy spoilers.) Because it happened in the middle of the season, rather than near the finale, there’s still so much story to be told, and Marvel has released a new promo full of new and unseen footage that takes advantage of some of those details.

Now let’s take a look at some of the biggest reveals in there, screaming and jumping all the way down.

Billy’s full name confirmed, no Kap(lan)

While the final moments of Episode 5 did indeed confirm that Teen was a magical being with a crown that definitely resembles Scarlet Witch’s, the fact that his name wasn’t fully stated left some room for debate as to whether the show gave him the opportunity would give to give him the chance. the same last name as Wanda, or whether they would opt for the Kaplan last name from the comics.

But the new trailer answers that question immediately (at least assuming no further twists follow), with Agatha saying:

The fact that Agatha knows he is Wanda Maximoff’s son doesn’t quite mean that Agatha all the time or other connected upcoming Marvel shows will bypass the Kaplan family’s narrative ties entirely. But it will be interesting to see if and how showrunner Jac Schaeffer & Co. which sorts breadcrumbs, especially when we consider the next revelation.

Billy and his “mother” were involved in the car accident

As seen in the video, Billy is (presumably) driving a car outside the Westview Hex, which he can clearly see through the backseat window. And then for some currently unknown reason, the vehicle veers off the road and crashes into a tree, as Billy screams “Mom!” shouts. But who could be the mother he is calling?

Don’t get me wrong, Agatha all the time telegraphed this point quite explicitly in the series premiere, with Teen being hit by Mrs. Hart’s car in Agatha’s crime drama hallucination, combined with other possible clues like a torn sweater, injuries from shards of glass (like a car window), and more. So it’s not that shocking to hear that he was in a wreck.

But it couldn’t have been Wanda driving the car if the Hex was already in place, and that’s not the case corpses just like Agatha could have driven that car outside of Westview. That could also be possible this where the Kaplan family comes into play? Albeit quite tragically, with Mrs. Kaplan and her son dying in the process, and I imagine only one of them is brought back to life by magic.

We meet another witch with purple powers

This last bit may seem like a footnote compared to all the exciting revelations about Joe Locke’s Billy, but a few unknown faces pop up in Agatha all the time‘s midseason trailer, and one of them shows off some magical abilities that sound all too similar to those of Kathryn Hahn’s morally wavering witch.

In particular we see the mysterious character pictured above, looking very shocked as he emits purple magical waves that I have to assume are identical to Agatha’s, although I’m willing to be wrong if there are any specific differences in the hue and/or shade. . At least me to believe this is the first time we’ve seen another witch with purple magic in the MCU. (The other unknown character’s magic is not shown directly, but has a brighter glow closer to orange or yellow.)

When the Salem Seven tried to kill Agatha at the stake in the WandaVision flashback, they all shared the same blue-tinted magic, so I wonder if this woman is where Agatha’s purple powers came from in the first place. That certainly doesn’t bode well for her survival, but it’s something I hadn’t fully considered before.

Whether or not these details emerge in the sixth episode or beyond, I’ll think about them while I wait Agatha all the time‘S season continues every Wednesday night at 8:00 PM for fans with Disney+ subscriptions.
