NATCHITOCHES, La. (KALB) – Dark Woods Adventure Park in Natchitoches is gearing up for its final nights of Halloween festivities, through Saturday, November 2.

For over ten years, the park has been a hub of spooky entertainment, offering haunted trails, spooky characters and special effects that create an immersive Halloween experience.

Earlier in the day, families can enjoy children’s activities, including hayrides and games designed for younger children.

Dark Woods also celebrates other holidays, such as Christmas, when the park is transformed with festive lights and decorations suitable for all ages.

Jason Summerlin, operator and owner of the park, said: “We have evolved from a simple haunted attraction to Dark Woods Adventure Park, which now features multiple attractions in different seasons. We’re best known for our haunted attractions, but we offer a variety of experiences year-round. “It has been a long journey, but we have made great progress.”
