MONROE, La. (KNOE) – The Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect who was involved in a car chase.

CPSO officials said Vondell Hawkins, 36, of Ferriday, was involved in an incident in Jonesville that led to a chase into Concordia Parish.

Hawkins lost control of his vehicle near the Frogmore Plantation area and then fled.

Anyone with information on Hawkins’ whereabouts is asked to contact the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office at (318) 336-5231.

The CPSO said the suspect is considered “extremely dangerous” and may have a firearm.
