Woman dies from injuries sustained in Stoughton fire

A woman in her 90s died after being seriously injured in a fire at her Stoughton home last week, state officials announced.

The woman, whose name was not released, was rescued from her home at 59 Greenbrook Drive in Stoughton when a fire broke out on the afternoon of October 24. She was flown by medical helicopter to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, where she died on Tuesday, Stoughton Fire Chief Michael Carroll, Stoughton Police Chief Donna McNamara, the state fire marshal announced in a joint statement. , Jon Davine, and Norfolk County District Attorney Michael Morrissey.
