Cornel West wants the Supreme Court to make the Palestinian Authority announce his candidacy

WASHINGTON − Independent presidential candidate Cornel West he has asked Supreme Court have Pennsylvania polling places inform voters that they can enter their name on Election Day.

West filed that emergency request days before Tuesday’s election after failing to appear on the ballot in the battleground state.

The West is more likely to take votes away from Vice President Kamala Harris what of former president donald trump.

Pennsylvania’s high court upheld the secretary of state’s ruling that West lacked the required affidavits for most of his presidential electors and was therefore ineligible.

When West sought help from the federal courts, U.S. District Judge J. Nicholas Ranjan said the rules appear to intentionally make it difficult for third-party candidates to appear on the ballot. But Ranjan said the elections were too close to intervene.

An appeals court also rejected West’s request for relief.

West, a philosopher, activist and author, told the Supreme Court that intervention is necessary so Pennsylvania election officials cannot avoid accountability by running out of time.

Although Pennsylvanians are already voting, West said he still has the constitutional right to be chosen by the millions of residents who will vote Tuesday.

The cost to the state of quickly publishing notices of his candidacy at each polling station, he told the court, is a reasonable price to pay for violating his rights “and dragging this dispute to the point where emergency relief is necessary.”

West requests that the court issue such an order by Friday.
