Bonnie Hitchens Murder: New Details Revealed About Murder of Mother of Five Outside Millville, New Jersey Store

MILLVILLE, New Jersey (WPVI) — Court documents revealed new details Tuesday about the double shooting that left a mother of five dead outside a convenience store in Millville, New Jersey.

Police say he is 41 years old. Bonnie Hitchens He was shot to death inside a vehicle Saturday while in the parking lot of a store on East Greene Street.

A 31-year-old man who was in the car was also shot. Family members identified him as Hitchens’ longtime boyfriend.

Investigators said Eric Bundy-Johnson, 34, and Francessca Delvalle, 34, Both were arrested on Sunday. and accused of murder and other crimes.

According to a probable cause affidavit, a car driven by Delvalle stopped in front of the victim’s vehicle, where a verbal altercation occurred.

Delvalle was reportedly caught shouting accusations allegedly involving the father of her child and Hitchens.

Shortly after, authorities allege Bundy-Johnson exited the vehicle wearing a mask and fired four shots at the car before fleeing the scene.

During an interview with police after his arrest, Bundy-Johnson claimed he “blacked out” and shot both victims “because he felt like people were constantly trying to trick him,” according to charging documents.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS

Delvalle allegedly told police that Bundy-Johnson was the father of her child and that he fired the fatal shots. He also allegedly told police that he tried to tell Bundy-Johnson not to get out of the car.

Officers were able to locate the vehicle using surveillance videos.

“My mom didn’t deserve this,” Hitchens’ daughter he told Action News over the weekend. “She wasn’t a bad person. She wasn’t a bad person at all.”

“I’m still trying to understand all of this,” added Shardinae Wise, the man’s sister. “I’m trying to figure out exactly why this happened.”

Wise said his brother, who was listed in stable condition, also had trouble understanding how such a tragic situation became a reality.

Both suspects are being held at the Cumberland County Jail.
