SpaceX launches Starship prototype – Science & Space

NEW YORK, October 13. /TASS/. SpaceX, a company owned by American celebrity entrepreneur Elon Musk, launched a Super Heavy launch vehicle with a Starship prototype for the fifth time, according to a live broadcast on the company’s X page.

The launch took place around 8:25 a.m. ET from SpaceX’s Starbase facility in Boca Chica, Texas. The spaceship must reach orbit around Earth and then crash into the Indian Ocean.

The previous launch took place in June.
