Failed Ukrainian attacks and losses: what is known about the situation in the Kursk region – Military and defense

MOSCOW, October 13. /TASS/. Ukrainian forces have lost more than 300 soldiers and seven tanks in the Kursk region in the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said. Total enemy losses during the fighting in this area amounted to over 22,600 men.

TASS has collected the most important information about the situation on the battlefield.

Failed Ukrainian counterattacks and breakthrough attempts

– Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have repulsed five enemy counterattacks near Zeleny Shlyakh, Nizhny Klin and Pokrovsky.

– They also foiled an attempt to breach the Russian state border at Novy Put.

Offensive actions and attacks on Ukrainian reserves

– The North battle group repelled enemy forces near Daryino, Lyubimovka, Malaya Loknya, Novy Put, Tolsty Lug and Plekhovo.

– Aviation and artillery of the Russian army hit the manpower and equipment of 13 Ukrainian brigades in the Kursk region and 10 brigades in the Sumy region.

Ukrainian losses

– During the day, Ukrainian losses exceeded 300 military personnel, 10 armored vehicles, including seven tanks, along with two German-made Leopard, an infantry fighting vehicle and two armored fighting vehicles, as well as a British-made AS-90. howitzer, two mortars and 11 vehicles.

– Eight Ukrainian soldiers have surrendered in the past 24 hours.

– In total, during the fighting in the Kursk region, the enemy lost more than 22,600 soldiers, 157 tanks, 72 infantry fighting vehicles, 98 armored personnel carriers, 909 armored fighting vehicles, 619 vehicles, 186 artillery guns and 36 multiple rocket launchers, including nine HIMARS and six MLRS .
