Podcaster calls out Dak Prescott critics for horrific double standards

Dak Prescott has continued to prove himself as one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. He has done this not only with stats that can be compared to any other signal caller, but also when it comes to wins and losses. Yet the Dallas Cowboys superstar continues to turn up the heat at every turn.

The main issue he’s being targeted for is his lack of postseason success, primarily his failure to win the Super Bowl. However, as Ugochukwu Onyianta, host of “The U-GoBoy Podcast” points out that Dak is the only QB in the entire league to be punished for not winning it all.

Onyianta says everyone else – who has been paid – will receive a pass. He then lists them; while also giving reasons why they should be criticized.

The first was Josh Allen, who he said throws five interceptions, catching a pass every other game. He then called out Joe Burrow for his inability to stay healthy and even took aim at Lamar Jackson, who won Prescott’s 2023 MVP. Onyianta says Prescott outwitted Jackson, but the more popular player won.

It’s hard to argue with all these claims. Allen, for example, has 78 interceptions in 99 career games. That’s the same number of interceptions Prescott has in 119 games. Burrow has missed significant time in two of his five seasons and is 6-9 over the past two years, which would require Prescott to be destroyed.

As for Jackson, he’s a sensational player, but he’s just 2-4 in the playoffs and missed one postseason game that his team lost.

Dak gets a lot more criticism for his playoff woes, but is 2-5, not much different than Jackson.

To top it all off, no one batted an eye when one of those QBs got a huge extension. In fact, the Ravens were openly punished for not paying Jackson what he wanted.

Ultimately, this is all part of the job. Being the Cowboys’ quarterback has always generated a lot of interest. On the other hand, if Prescott were to break through and win it all, he would be constantly praised.
