Emmerdale confirms tragedy as a legend is buried in new spoiler videos | Soaps

The Dingle’s will be rocked by devastating news in Emmerdale next week as it’s finally time to say goodbye to beloved Zak Dingle (Steve Halliwell).

Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) is the first to hear the news, after wife Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) receives a call from Scotland.

As the news spreads among the family, the Dingles close ranks and find solace in being together, before the villagers gather to see Cain and Sam Dingle (James Hooton) off as they begin the journey to bring Zak home .

Elsewhere, Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) is shocked by the sudden arrival of her mother’s ashes, and makes an impulsive decision about how to deal with them.

However, when she later looks for answers, she gets more than she bargained for.

Monday October 14th

Cain is reeling when he hears that father Zak has unfortunately passed away.

As Moira explains that he died an hour ago, Cain struggles to come to terms with it and asks many questions about his father’s last moments.

Moira explains how he had said his morning with Cain had been the best ever, before falling asleep in his chair with a big grin on his face.

When Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb) tried to wake him up, she couldn’t.

How will Cain deal with the aftermath of Zack’s death?

Tuesday October 15

Later, Cain has the difficult task of breaking the news about Zak to Belle and Sam.

The pair are in good spirits as they return to Wishing Well and reminisce about their fond memories with their father.

However, the mood soon changes when they see Cain, and it is clear that something is not right.

How will they react to the devastating news?

Wednesday October 16

Ruby makes a gruesome discovery when she visits the hospital where her mother died.

On the ward, she gets talking to one of the nurses who cared for her in her final days, asking if she mentioned her at all.

The nurse reveals that Ruby’s mother talked about her a lot and had said that Ruby had promised to come over.

As the nurse explained how Caleb had picked up a call from her and visited the next day, Ruby is stunned.

The nurse suggests that he might be able to give her some answers – and Ruby will certainly want them.
