Men with very specific beards revealed as Britain’s biggest love rats: does your look make the list?

MEN with goatees are Britain’s biggest love rats, a study has found.

Nearly one in five cheated women said their ex had a neatly trimmed beard.

Famous men with goatees who have played outdoors include television baker Paul Hollywood, golfer Tiger Woods and Foo Fighters rocker Dave Grohl.

The study found that 18 percent of unfaithful men wore a goatee.

Another 17 percent of women said their cheating partner had designer stubble.

And 15 percent said they had a mustache.

But men with full beards are the least likely to do the dirty work; only nine percent of women suffer from this.

Dating website illicitencounters.com asked 2,000 women whether a cheating partner had facial hair and if so, what kind of hair.

A total of 74 percent did so, compared to 26 percent who were clean-shaven.

Spokeswoman Jessica Leoni said: “There is always something not quite right with a man with a well-groomed goatee beard.

“It’s hard to say why. Maybe he’s trying a little too hard, but what our research shows is that they can’t be trusted and are most likely love rats.”
