Veteran Luo Benga singer Princess Jully has passed away.

The verteran musician breathed her last in a hospital in Migori province where she was being treated until now

The musician’s son confirmed her death via Facebook in a devastating post. July died while receiving treatment in Migori. Her son wrote:

“Good luck mom.”

The musician was missing until March this year when a short interview on TikTok sent fans into a frenzy.

As an HIV activist, Jully noted that she was strong and beautiful despite being on HIV treatment, and urged her fans to fight against the stigma associated with the disease.

Jully also noted that she was minding her business while advising fans to keep the peace.

“I would like to advise people to take their medications. So you can have children, raise them, buy and drive a car, have fun, board a plane and enjoy yourself. This is heaven, and if you stop treatment, you will die. What have you beaten me with now that I’m in treatment? Take your treatment and pray to God. Look how beautiful I am,” she said.
