Sean “Diddy” Combs,” accused of sex trafficking and racketeering, is not receiving special treatment at the federal prison where he is housed, reports claim citing sources. Additionally, the music mogul’s lawyer said the “hardest adjustment to being behind bars is the food he eats.”

“I think the food is probably the toughest part,” Combs’ attorney Marc Agnifilo told PEOPLE on Oct. 10 outside a federal courthouse in Manhattan. “He is being treated like any other prisoner awaiting trial,” the source said. told PEOPLE.

PEOPLE reported that on September 20, “Diddy’s” day behind bars began at 6 a.m. with a communal morning meal for inmates. He was given a breakfast of cereal, fruit and a gingerbread, the report said.

Oatmeal and toast were also weekday options, and coffee is only served on weekends, the Federal Bureau of Prisons national menu report noted.

On weekdays, lunch is served at 11am and dinner after 4pm. Lunch consists of main courses of burgers and fried fish or beef tacos and scrambled eggs and biscuits on weekends.

For dinner, the menu offers options such as chicken fajitas, pasta and roast beef. The prison also serves ‘heart-healthy’ meals and vegetarian dishes such as lentils, tofu and baked beans.

Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested on September 16, a day before he was indicted on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty and was twice denied bail.

The 54-year-old rapper has been housed in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn pending trial. He is accused of organizing so-called “freak offs,” which were described in the indictment as highly orchestrated sex performances. Prosecutors accused Combs of forcing or coercing women to participate with male sex workers.
