Tom Holland confirms shooting for ‘Spider-Man 4’ next summer

Tom Holland does not keep this a secret. The young actor appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and talked about Spider Man 4. He confirmed to the talk show host and his audience that the films are underway and will begin production next summer.

During the interview, Holland doubles down on the confirmation: “We’ll start shooting next summer. Everything is ready to go – we’re almost there. Super exciting. I can’t wait!” Recently, Tom Hollan shared on the Rich Roll podcast that he read the script together with his co-star and girlfriend Zendaya. He said of the script: ‘It needs work, but the writers are doing a great job. I read it three weeks ago and it really lit a fire in me. Zendaya and I would sit down and read it together, and sometimes we would bounce around the living room and say, “This is a real movie worthy of the fans’ respect.” But there are a few things we need to figure out before we can really get that going, but it’s exciting.

Holland stepped into the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man in 2019. The actor also gave in last year for shooting three standalone films Collider that he always wants to ‘do justice to the character’. He added: “I feel very protective of Spider-Man. I’m very lucky that we were able to work on a franchise that got better with every movie, that got more successful with every movie, which I think is really rare, and I want to protect its legacy. So I’m not going to make another one just to make another one. It will have to be worth it for the character.
