Banner Health welcomes new vascular surgeon to locations in Greeley, Fort Collins – Greeley Tribune

Timothy Fuller has joined Banner Health of Northern Colorado to provide expertise and access to specialized care for patients with conditions that affect blood vessels and blood flow.

Fuller, who began his career at Banner in August after relocating from Georgia, has more than 15 years of medical experience, according to a news release from Banner Health. A certified physician in vascular interpretation, he is board certified in general surgery and vascular surgery.

Life-altering vascular conditions include “aneurysms of the aorta and peripheral artery, occlusive disease of the aorta and peripheral vascular vessels, carotid artery disease, venous disease and vascular access needs,” according to the release.

Fuller strives to provide his patients with a commitment to excellence and precision that he developed during his first successful career in the military.

“What I find the most rewarding aspect of my job is the positive impact I can have on my patient’s lives,” Fuller said in the news release. “My philosophy of care is based on discipline, precision and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Whether performing complex surgeries or offering minimally invasive procedures, I strive to provide the highest standard of care, rooted in integrity and compassion.”

Before becoming a surgeon, Fuller earned a degree in electrical engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point. After graduating, he deployed to the Global War on Terror, where he became an Army Ranger.

During his service, Fuller earned two separate Bronze Stars and participated in five combat deployments with the 75th Ranger Regiment’s elite special operations unit, according to the release.

After a military career, Fueller pursued a medical degree at Mercer University School of Medicine in Georgia. He subsequently completed a general surgery residency and a vascular surgery fellowship in Ohio.

Fuller will see patients at the Banner Health Clinic in Greeley and the Banner Health Center in Fort Collins. He will also work closely with Banner’s other cardiac, thoracic and vascular physicians.
