General terms and conditions

1. The Promotion is open to residents of Ireland aged 18 years or over, excluding employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or anyone professionally associated with the Promotion.

2. A valid entry consists of a correct answer completed in the form above, accompanied by the participant’s name, email address and telephone number.

3. Applications from agents, third parties, organized groups or automatically computer generated applications will not be accepted. No incomplete, illegible or damaged entries will be accepted. Entries not in accordance with the entry instructions will not be accepted.

4. The Promotion runs from 23/10/2024 to 10/11/2024 midnight.

5. All entries must be received by the Promoter no later than midnight on the closing date. All competition entries received after the closing date will be automatically disqualified.

6. Promotion limited to one entry per person. No participant will win more than one prize.

7. By submitting an entry to the Promoter you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

8. No responsibility is accepted for lost, damaged or delayed entries due to network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of shipping is not proof of receipt. Entries become the property of the Organizer.

9. The prize consists of one pair of tickets to see Ireland vs Argentina on Friday 15th November at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin. There will be one winner.

10. All prizes are subject to any additional terms and conditions from the supplier of the prize to the Organizer. These tickets can only be used for Ireland V Argentina on Friday 15th November at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin and cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.

11. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss, damage or consequential loss or damage whatsoever arising in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise caused by acceptance of the terms and conditions or in connection with the prize.

12. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Organizer reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative of equal or greater value.

13. The winners will be notified by email. The winner must claim the prize before November 14, 2024. If the prize is not claimed after this time it will forfeit and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to an alternate winner selected in accordance with the promotion rules.

14. The promoter’s decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.

15. Details of winners (name and province) will be made available on The Irish Times website.

16. The winner may be required to participate in any unpaid publicity arising from this promotion.

17. The Organizer will only process your personal data as set out in https://www.irishtimes.com/policy-and-terms/privacy-policy and as set out in these terms and conditions.

18. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

19. These terms and conditions are governed by Irish law and the courts of the Republic of Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

21. The Promoter reserves the right to void, suspend, cancel or amend the Promotion as deemed necessary.
