Married At First Sight Britain was thrown into chaos on Monday evening when two couples dramatically decided to leave the experiment and one husband admitted to kissing another woman.

In the shocking Commitment Ceremony episode, both Hannah and Stephen, as well as Richelle and Orson, left the show after the ongoing cheating scandal broke.

It came to light that Orson and Hannah had shared a kiss on the final night of the couple’s retreat, which was plagued by a series of fiery arguments.

As they sat down on the couch to talk to the experts, Stephen explained, “All I hear is that she’s trying with everyone’s husbands. It just makes me watch even more.

‘I will never deny that our wedding day was special, but no. Last week, before I wrote leave, I was still thinking, “I don’t think I can be the man you need.”

He continued, “But my mentality right now is very much, I don’t want to be your man. I don’t think you’re doing it for me, I think you’re doing it for… I don’t know what the reasons are and why you’re here. So for those reasons I’m leaving.’

Hannah agreed to call it quits, saying, “I think this is probably my chance to try and leave this process as disconnected from everyone as possible.

“No matter how much has happened, I think deep down you’re a good guy and you’ll make someone happy. It’s supposed to be about marriage, but ours didn’t work out, so I’m leaving.”

Later in the chaotic episode, Orson dropped the cheating bomb, admitting, “On the last night of the retreat, me and Hannah were talking and we shared a kiss. There was a little connection there. I’m not gonna lie.

“What I had done was done, I knew that what she was experiencing had been done so honestly that I didn’t feel like I was stepping on anyone’s toes or disrespecting anyone.”

Mel asked, “What impact did you think that had on Richelle?” to which Orson fired back, “If I’m being completely honest, Mel, and this could come across the wrong way, I didn’t really care about Richelle at the time.”

The intense scenes got even more intense when Richelle spoke out about the marriage, claiming that she could feel Orson’s “despair” and that he wanted to stay in the process “by any means necessary.”

Richelle responded with, “Before I got into this process, I asked for a strong, intelligent man with some integrity and I didn’t find that in Orson at all.

‘I think he’s quite strong-willed, you’re really not as sharp as you think. It’s pretty obvious to most people that you’re a bit simple. He absolutely lacks any ounce of integrity.

‘So a week late, but it’s clear: leave.’

The breathtaking episode comes. MAFS stars are reportedly being threatened with a five-figure fine to ensure they don’t reveal their relationship status before the show’s finale airs – despite a few slip-ups having already crept in.

A source told The Sun: ‘Production has told all brides and grooms that they will be fined €10,000 if they are seen in public with their TV partner before the show has aired as they don’t want to spoil the final reveals .

“The show is filmed so many months in advance that producers are always worried about leaks.”

They added, “So they put in this big clause to make sure the contestants don’t give the game away.”
