Multiple fire departments are responding to a brush fire burning along Highway 1 in Santa Cruz County – KION546

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV) – Central Fire confirms their agency is responding to a brush fire burning along Highway 1 in Santa Cruz County Monday afternoon.

Just after 1 p.m., a large plume of smoke could be seen billowing from the area via AlertCalifornia’s wildfire cameras.

We are trying to get more information about the size of this fire and whether any homes are threatened.
