Princess Beatrice takes a big step for the image of the royal family after the birth of her child

Buckingham Palace recently announced that Princess Beatrice is expecting her second child.

Now, royal insiders have revealed that the Princess of York is considering launching a public social media account, following in the footsteps of her mother, Sarah Ferguson, and sister, Princess Eugenie.

The source suggested that Princess Beatrice, who does not yet have a public social media account, could launch an official account after the birth of her second child.

“Beatrice has a private Instagram account, but she’s a little reluctant to launch an official account,” says an insider The Express.

They continued: “Eugenie and Sarah both have official social media accounts and it’s something Beatrice has often been asked about.

“Although Bea has been apprehensive in the past, there are tentative plans to launch an official Instagram account to mark the birth of her second child,” the source said.

The insider further revealed that Princess Beatrice wants to showcase her charity work on the account.

“Beatrice is encouraged to highlight her charitable efforts, which will shine a better light on the York family as a whole,” they said.

The source concluded: “She’s also been told it might be nice to show a little more of her family as she’s been quite closed off until recently.”

Princess Eugenie currently has 1.8 million Instagram followers, while Sarah Ferguson has 740,000 users.
