Police appeal after prisoner absconds from HMP Sudbury

Police have launched an appeal for information after a man absconded from an open prison in Derbyshire.

Larry Connors left HMP Sudbury at around 7.50pm BST on Friday, Derbyshire Police said.

The 31-year-old was serving a four-and-a-half-year prison sentence for burglary, police added.

He is described as about 6 feet tall, medium build and short red hair.
