Police: Ravena man arrested for child pornography

New York State Police say they arrested Christopher Noto, 39, of Ravena, on Oct. 11 for possession of child pornography.

Authorities say he is accused of promoting and possessing images related to child sexual exploitation.

The arrest followed an investigation and execution of a search warrant at Noto’s home in Ravena on Oct. 11, police said.

Noto was charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child, a class D felony, and possessing a sexual performance by a child, a class E felony.

Police say he was arrested and processed at the State Police in Latham, arraigned in Coeymans Court and released under the supervision of the Albany County Probation Department.
