Crazy family member from Nairobi speaks out after death and confirms funeral date: “big blow”

Jack Mugi Ndungu, the creative writer and founder of Crazy Nairobian Blog, will be laid to rest on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.

Mugi died on October 14 in Gikambura, Kikuyu.

The Bloggers Association of Kenya (BAKE) announced his death, and his cousin, Milan Kantai, shared the funeral program with him TUKO.co.ke.

A memorial service will be held at his home in Gikambura on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at 3:00 PM.

Where will Crazy Nairobian be buried?

The event will feature tributes, art, music and candle lighting. His funeral will take place on October 23, with mourners gathering at the PCEA Kikuyu Hospital Mortuary before proceeding to his home in Gikambura, Musa Gitau, next to Rubis Gas Station, where he will be buried.

Mugi’s family expressed their deep sorrow and thanked Kenyans for their overwhelming support.

Jack Mugi’s family has fallen apart

Describing Mugi as more than just a cousin, Kantai said his death had had a major impact on the family.

“We thank you (Kenyans) for your support for this great man who was not known by many. He was more than a big brother. We’re having a hard time coming to terms with it. It’s a big blow,” she said.

Elsewhere, political blogger Collins Kipkorir, alias Cherinyit, was found dead in his home days after he was reported missing.

Sources close to the blogger indicated that he disappeared on Monday, April 8, after which his lifeless body was found in Majengo.

Details surrounding Kipkorir’s death were scarce and police vowed to investigate the mysterious case.

On March 22, the social media personality posted on Facebook that people should not confuse his personality with his attitude.
