Former British student sentenced to a year in prison for assaulting a fellow student

Rosing, who is from Fort Mitchell Kentucky, pleaded guilty in August to four counts of assault, one charge of disorderly conduct and one charge of alcohol intoxication.
A video of the incident went viral. It shows Kylah Spring, a black student who worked at the front desk of Boyd Hall, trying to help Rosing, who was drunk and having trouble getting in. Rosing responded with a series of racist comments and a physical attack on Spring.

According to the police report, Rosing also assaulted a police officer who responded to the incident.

The University of Kentucky expelled Rosing and permanently banned her from campus.
