Krushna said that Kapil Sharma sometimes makes jokes about him, but he doesn’t feel bad because he takes it in a nice way.

Krushna Abhishek has made a name for himself in the comedy industry over the years. He is known for his one-liners and ability to put different characters on stage. He was recently seen entertaining audiences on the cooking reality show Laughter Chefs and is now part of the second season of The Great Indian Kapil Show. In a recent interview, Krushna Abhishek talked about how the meaning of comedy has changed over time and its limitations. He said that Kapil Sharma sometimes jokes about him but he doesn’t feel bad as he takes it in a nice tone.

In an interview with The Times of India, Krushna Abhishek explained how their jokes are meant to entertain the audience rather than hurt anyone’s sentiments. Explaining his stance, Krushna said that Kapil Sharma often makes fun of him but he takes it to heart as he understands that it is just for the audience to have fun. He commented: ‘People don’t see how much we make fools of ourselves! Kapil makes such a fool of me saying, ‘Mama doesn’t talk to him; why should we?’ But I don’t feel bad because I know it’s all for fun. But yes, there are so many restrictions now. It affects the comedy. People need to understand that we just want to make them laugh.”

Krushna said that he is also making fun of Kapil and the latter is not taking it personally. He said, ‘I also joke about Kapil, asking, ‘Has anyone seen Firangi?’ But is Kapil feeling bad? No! If an actor’s film didn’t do well and we make a joke about it, they should treat it lightly.” However, the comedian-actor added that there is always a difference between “making fun of someone and having fun with someone.”

Moreover, he noted that both Kapil Sharma and himself, along with the entire team of The Great Indian Kapil Show, strive for a diverse and inclusive audience. He added that when they start working on the script, they explore different layers of jokes. However, when it comes to wrapping them up, they consider which jokes could cause problems in the future, and if they think something could be misinterpreted, they limit themselves. Krushna Abhishek noted that it is important to strike a balance while ensuring that everyone enjoys the humor.
