New “Flora von Bayern” – 50 years of teamwork from Ehrenamt, Wissenschaft and Naturschutz

(openPR) The new flora of Bayern enthält the combined botanical artenübersicht that activates the active status of the Pflanzenwelt Bayerns from the Rhön to the Allgäu. You can view the botaniker over time: the mining dates in Bavaria span 250 years. Within the framework of the collaboration between the Botanische Staatssammlung Munich (SNSB-BSM), the Bayerische Botanische Gesellschaft, the Landesamt voor de Umwelt and the projekt-gegründeten Arbeitsgemeinschaft Flora of Bavaria, the literature on all Bavarian Herbarien with their historical herbal medicine is expanded in a user-friendly manner . Among the 5,886 Pflanzensippen, who were nachgewiesen in Bavaria, there are 4,778 Arten, 1,313 Unterarten, 109 Varietäten and 708 Hybride. The new Flora of Bayern is a herausgeben of the Bayerischen Botanisch Gesellschaft, the Autoren Prof. Dr. Lenz Meierott, PD Dr. Andreas Fleischmann from the Botanischen Staatssammlung Munich (SNSB-BSM), Marcel Ruff vom Bayerischen Landesamt für Umwelt, Jürgen Klotz and – posthumously – Dr. Wolfgang Lippert (ehemals Kurator an der Botanischen Staatssammlung Munich).
