3-year-old unresponsive after ingesting substance, Marion County couple arrested

WORTHINGTON, W.Va. (WDTV) – A Marion County couple was arrested Tuesday after deputies say a 3-year-old child ingested a substance and became unresponsive.

Daniel Duncil, 44, and Holly Duncil, 45, of Worthington, were each charged with one count of child neglect resulting in injury, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Department.

On September 26, officers were notified of a medical incident that occurred on Hutchinson Drive in Worthington. They were told a three-year-old girl had ingested an unknown substance, possibly THC oil, and was unresponsive to the point of hospitalization, court documents say.

Daniel is currently in the North Central Regional Jail on a $2,000 bond. Holly bonded and was released on Wednesday.
