New Tokyo Ghoul promo proves we need to restart ASAP

Tokyo Ghoul is one of those anime franchises that has earned its devoted fanbase, as the story of Ken Kaneki’s misadventures in the supernatural realm remains a staple of the medium. The last time we saw Ken in an anime project was with Tokyo Ghoul:rethe latest series in which Studio Pierrot returned to the franchise for a twenty-four episode story. Now, in promoting the tenth anniversary of the Tokyo Ghoul franchise, not only does the series have some great new merchandise, but they’ve also cut a live-action promo that has fans crossing their fingers for a revival.

If you’re not familiar with it From Tokyo Ghoul plot follows the series’ protagonist Ken Kaneki as he tries to live a normal life until he encounters a creepy character. When Ken encounters a ‘ghoul’ in the dead of night, Ken survives the devilish creature thanks to a lucky escape. Unfortunately for Ken, he doesn’t emerge from this encounter unscathed, as he becomes a ghoul himself. Ghouls are creatures that may look human, but they possess some serious supernatural power and a lust for human flesh. Pierrot

Ten years after the release of From Tokyo Ghoul first anime adaptation, the franchise opens an exhibition in Japan to celebrate. From October 21 and until December 1 there will be an interactive exhibition called “Tokyo Ghoul EX”, with reproductions of locations from the series and Pierrot’s great animation. Along with the new live-action promo, the exhibit also provided a look at a Ken Kaneki mask that fans can score by attending, which is selling for a surprising $800 USD. Considering how passionate Tokyo Ghoul fans may be, the mask may fly off the shelves of the exhibition.

Will one Tokyo Ghoul Anime announced?

Like Bleach And NarutoStudio Pierrot is in charge of Kaneki’s animated adventures. In recent years, the production house confirmed that it was taking a more “seasonal” approach to its projects, meaning that it did not plan to create never-ending weekly releases for some of its biggest hits. With this in mind, a Tokyo Ghoul a revival would most likely follow the Thousand Year Blood War and the return of Konoha.

In terms of a Tokyo Ghoul live-action project, no new projects have been announced, but live-action films have been released in the past. Tokyo Ghoul And Tokyo Ghoul S covered a large part of Kaneki’s story and considering how popular live-action anime adaptations are becoming in the West, the idea of a Tokyo Ghoul Western view is not excluded.

Anime exhibitions in America

Unfortunately nothing has been said about this Tokyo Ghoul exhibition making its way to North America. For years, many anime exhibitions have remained in Japan, although the medium’s popularity in the West is only growing. For a long time, live-action plays were confined to Japan, but this is slowly changing. Recently, live-action performances such as Death note And Attack on Titan have come to New York City, so hopefully the exhibits will model plays and do the same at some point in the future.
