Gypsy-Rose Blanchard admits she ‘never saw ‘The Kardashians’ before appearing on show: ‘Kim was really nice’

“The producer got a big kick out of the fact that I had never seen the show before,” Blanchard said on the latest episode of ‘The Viall Files’ podcast

Gypsy-Rose Blanchard was not one of the millions Kardashians viewers before she appeared on the show earlier this year.

Speaking about the latest episode of The bachelor star Nick Viall The Viall files podcast on Wednesday, Oct. 16, Blanchard, 33, recalled having a one-on-one meeting with Kim Kardashian, 43, about hopefully getting involved in prison reform. The moment played out on the July 11 episode of the hit Hulu show.

“It was exciting. Kim was really nice. I’ve actually never looked The Kardashians. So when I went on the show, the producer got a big kick out of the fact that I had never seen the show before,” Blanchard admitted.

When asked if she had seen the show since then, Blanchard laughed and said, “My episode.”

Despite being “familiar” with the Kardashians, Blanchard admitted that she didn’t know much about the family, but she was aware that “Kim was very influential.”

“I knew she had the show, The Kardashians. She has SKIMS. And I knew she was very interested in prison reform,” says Blanchard – who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Ken Urker.

She joked about the famous family, who have collectively amassed hundreds of millions of followers on social media: “I said, ‘She (Kim) has sisters. Right? Yeah. She has some sisters.’ That’s about what I know about Kim.”

When asked if she and Kim had stayed in touch after the episode – in which the pair discussed Blanchard’s incarceration – she replied: “I’ve kept in touch with her producer.”

“I posted the selfies we took and Kim liked them on my social media. I DMed her a few times on Instagram. So we’ve had minimal contact. But I know that’s always the case.” a line that is open,” Blanchard said.

In the episode, Kim — who has long documented her journey to becoming a lawyer — acknowledged that Blanchard “could make a big difference” when it comes to prison reform because she can “really put into words what you’ve been through and how you can get through it. .”

Blanchard gave Kim “huge compliments” for her collaboration, saying on the show, “I think a lot of people are afraid to touch me as a subject because I’m too controversial.”
