11-year-old child shot while playing outside, Olean Police search for truck owner

OLEAN, N.Y. (WKBW) – The Olean Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding this pickup.

Police said the silver truck is part of an investigation into the shooting of an 11-year-old child Tuesday.

Olean City Fire responded to the 1300 block of Seneca Avenue around 6:15 p.m. Tuesday after an 11-year-old was shot in the leg while playing outside.

The 11-year-old was taken to hospital. There is no word on the child’s current condition.
