Liverpool and Tottenham said brilliant Bundesliga attacking talent could be available for £40-50m

Liverpool and Tottenham have reportedly been told the asking price for top Bundesliga talent Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, who is currently making a name for himself at Borussia Dortmund.

The England Under-21 international is currently being pursued by several clubs after scoring four goals and providing two assists in all competitions for Dortmund this season. But it is in the Champions League where he is currently making the biggest impact, playing twice as many games for Germany.

And while Dortmund are unwilling to sanction the sale of Bynoe-Gittens in the January transfer window, all clubs willing to wait until the summer of 2025 have learned how much the exciting forward will cost.

Liverpool and Tottenham are certainly two clubs that will take note Football insider report that the former Manchester City academy product could be available next summer for a fee in the region of £40-50 million.

The twenty-year-old certainly has all the qualities to be a big hit in the Premier League. He has immense pace and skill and is mainly deployed as a left winger for Dortmund, where he tends to cut inside on his stronger right foot.

Bynoe-Gittens certainly impressed in Dortmund’s recent crushing win over Celtic in the Champions League, scoring his side a penalty in the 7-1 defeat of the Scottish champions.

Premier League scouts were known to be present at that match, such is the buzz surrounding the Englishman so early in his burgeoning career.

However, Liverpool and Spurs are unlikely to go all out in their pursuit of the player, with Chelsea also eyeing Bynoe-Gittens in what could be a real battle for his signature next summer.

Liverpool and Spurs on the hunt for new winger

In terms of where Bynoe-Gittens would fit in at Anfield or the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, it’s no real surprise to see both clubs linked with a new wide man. Twelve months ago, TT expected big clubs to scout the player as his career progressed.

Liverpool are currently sweating over the future of Mo Salah, with the Reds legend out of contract next summer and available to talk to foreign clubs about a free transfer switch in 2025 from January.

It is looking increasingly likely that the 32-year-old will end his spectacular spell on Merseyside, with Saudi Pro League clubs circling for his signature.

As for Tottenham, they are beginning to plan for life without captain Son Heung-min, who seems a shadow of the player who has enjoyed so much personal success in north London.

The South Korean has been sidelined for Spurs’ last few games due to injury, but could return for the visit of West Ham in the Premier League on Saturday. However, he has looked labored at times this season and appears to have lost a yard of pace and his ability to beat a man from his favored left-wing position.

And while it may be too early to write about Son, the fact that Tottenham signed Wilson Odobert from Burnley late in the summer transfer window suggests they are already looking at how they can build for the future in the wider area .
