Bryan Danielson says his son was expelled from school for biting and gouging

Bryan Danielson has proven to be one of the toughest fighters in wrestling, and the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree for his son Buddy.

During a recent edition of ‘The Daily Migs Show’, Danielson talked about being a father and the differences between Buddy and his daughter Birdie. He said,

“We had a parent-teacher conference at my daughter’s school and it was like, ‘Your daughter is the best.’ She is the best student. She’s so helpful.’

“Later that evening I get an email from where our son went to school, telling us that he had been expelled for ‘biting two teachers and stabbing one in the eye.’ (laughs). Of course they say, ‘Of course the wrestler’s son stabs someone in the eye.’ Some of the things I’ve done…(laughs). We say, ‘No, we won’t let him watch wrestling. That’s not me in real life.”

Birdie Danielson was born in 2017 to Danielson and Brie Garcia, while the couple welcomed Buddy into the world in 2020.

Danielson recently lost the AEW World Championship to Jon Moxley at WrestleDream 2024, which also marked the end of his full-time wrestling career.

Bryan Danielson has been open about his health issues lately, including believing he will undergo neck surgery before the end of this year.
