Amanda’s secret affair with 71-year-old businessman Robert Davies began when she shot to fame on Our Yorkshire Farm and was first exposed by The Sun.

The star was accused of living a ‘TV lie’ as a result of her affair, which sent shockwaves through everyone involved.

Amanda and Clive, who share nine children, have since put their divorce behind them and are taking on a brand new renovation challenge at Ravenseat Farm.

The trial will be chronicled in the couple’s first reality series since… news of their split and Amanda’s affair became public.

Prior to the launch of Our Farm Next By: Amanda, Clive and Kids, the star spoke to Lorraine live from her home, where she admitted the pair have been able to work through their differences after failing to get a ‘happy ending’ with each other.

While Lorraine pressed the star about what working together had been like despite their split, Amanda admitted there were plenty of ‘distractions’ to focus their attention on.

Amanda said: “It’s hard, but that’s what makes this program relatable.

“You know, you don’t always get the happy ending you want and things go wrong, but that’s life, right?

“It’s how you get through it and how you negotiate it, and I hope people will enjoy seeing (in the new series) how you get a taste of the countryside and all the children.”

She added: “I mean, come on, we have a lot of distractions and there’s just so much going on.

Amanda Owen’s relationship timeline

Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda Owen has been in the public eye for most of her life as her Channel 5 series Our Yorkshire Farm put her country life with ex-husband Clive and their nine children in the spotlight. Unfortunately, Amanda’s relationship with Clive hit the rocks and in 2022 the couple announced their divorce. Let’s take a closer look at their relationship timeline, plus Amanda’s other notable romance…

Amanda married Clive Owen, a Yorkshire farmer who is 19 years her senior, in 2002.

The couple welcomed nine children together over the course of their marriage.

Their nine children, in descending order of age, are Raven, Reuben, Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney, Annas, Clemmie and Nancy.

There is a big age difference between some of them, with the eldest, Raven, now 23, and the youngest, Nancy, only 8.

Clive and Amanda looked very much in love as they documented their home and work life together at Ravenseat in their Channel 5 series.

However, they shocked their fans on Thursday, June 9, 2022, when Amanda shared an Instagram post confirming that she and Clive had split.

She said: “Clive and I are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to part ways.

“This has not been easy, but we both believe this is the right choice for our family’s future.”

Clive has since opened up about his part in their split, admitting his ‘anger drove her away’.

Following their split, The Sun revealed that Amanda was dating web designer Robert Davies, who is 22 years older than her.

He was a “good friend” to them, Clive said as he confirmed Amanda’s new relationship began after they split.

However, in 2024, Amanda revealed that her relationship with Robert had ended and they were no longer speaking.

Meanwhile, Amanda and Clive have become good friends and continue to co-parent their children and work together on the farm.

They will reunite for a new Channel 4 documentary series in which they will attempt to restore a neglected property on their land.

“He puts my head in, I put his head in, but we’re actually both on the same side.”

Clive adds: “I’m very practical, so that’s my side of things, but Amanda is very good at saying how she wants things.”

In the first twelve months of the project, Amanda, Clive and their children work alongside a team of local traders to slowly bring their ambitious vision for the farm – known locally as Anty John’s – to life, in the battle against the unforgiving Dales. weather on one of the most remote construction sites in Britain.

Meanwhile, Amanda delves into the house’s riches historyrevealing the incredible story of Anthony Clarkson, a Swaledale mapmaker and diarist who lived there in the mid-19th century and documented life in this beautiful corner of the Dales.

The ex-couple has nine children ranging in age from seven to 23 years old.
