Fears for Justin Bieber amid fallout from Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs case

Justin Bieber seemingly isolates himself from those close to him and finds it difficult to trust the people in his inner circle.

Sources have told Page Six that Bieber is now “fighting the ghosts of his past” as he has become involved in speculation surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combsarrest. Videos of the pair have since surfaced, showing the disgraced rapper appearing on TV with Bieber when he was just a teenager.

‘Do I believe he was involved in stupid things? Yes,” said an industry insider who claims to have worked with Bieber’s team for years.

“He was a teenager. He was the biggest pop star in the world. Everyone was worried about him and we didn’t know if he would survive. People benefited from everything he did.”

Another source said that when Bieber was young, his actions may have had an impact on his relationships.

“Justin has done some really crazy things and alienated the people around him. He doesn’t trust them,” the source claimed.

A separate industry insider told Page Six that “family members are concerned about Justin” as all the videos come to light.

“It’s unclear if Diddy would have taken advantage of Justin at the time, as his family was nearby and his manager Scooter Braun really cared about him,” the insider claimed. “But when I say that, Justin went through a very bad period, a very rebellious phase.”

Another member of his inner circle told In Touch Weekly that “nobody knows what’s going on with Justin.”

“It seems like he’s disappeared off the map since Diddy’s arrest and all the sickening details came out. People are genuinely concerned about him,” she added.

So what exactly happened in these Bieber and Diddy videos? In 2016, the pair appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! when Bieber was just 16 years old. At the time, Diddy joked about what they had been up to in secret, saying, “(Bieber) knows better than to talk about the things he does with big brother Puff on national television… everything is not for everyone.”

In another clip, Diddy appears to pat Bieber before boarding his private plane, with many fans speculating that Diddy was looking for a wire.

The most concerning video, however, is when Diddy hints at “crazy” activities he has planned for himself and Bieber.

“We can’t really reveal where we hang out and what we do, but it’s definitely a 15-year-old’s dream,” Diddy said in the video. “I got custody of him. I don’t have legal custody of him, but for the next 48 hours he’s with me and we’re going all out.”

Bieber recently welcomed his newborn son Jac Blues with his wife Hailey Bieber in August. Although it is said to be a time of happiness, lately the singer has been looking thinner than usual when he is out and about.

It’s unlikely the Biebers will make a statement on the Diddy case, but hopefully the young family can deal with the allegations in peace.

Diddy is accused of sex trafficking, extortion and transportation for prostitution. The rapper is currently being held in jail without bail and his trial date is set for May 5, 2025.
