‘That’s what I’ve been waiting for’; ‘He’s beautiful, remarkable, he’s just Cillian!’;

‘Oppenheimer drops another bombshell’; ‘Only Cillian can do it’; ‘Who is this DIVA’;

‘Irish man with blue eyes made me trip’; “He looks so good in those pieces.”

Cillian is currently filming the Peaky Blinders movie The Immortal Man and has already been spotted at a secret location in Liverpool working on scenes.

The Oscar winner played the gangster in the multi-award winning BBC series from 2013 to 2022 and is now back for a big screen performance alongside new cast members Barry Keoghan, Rebecca Ferguson and Tim Roth.

Taking to Twitter with a snap in his iconic Tommy Shelby jacket and flat cap, the caption read: “On behalf of the Peaky Blinders… Tommy Shelby is back.”

Cillian and Steven Knight are reunited on set as production officially begins on the upcoming Netflix film.

Little is known about the plot, but Knight returns as a writer alongside the Tom Harper who directed episodes of the show’s first series at the helm.

Last month it was announced that Salburn star Barry has joined the cast, but details about his character have not yet been revealed.

The other returning stars are Stephen Graham, Sophie Rundle, Ned Dennehy, Packy Lee and Ian Peck.

Production began last week on the film, which will be an epic continuation of the multi-award winning gangster saga set in the lawless streets of Birmingham in the 1900s.

The film is written by the show’s creator Steven Knight, who produces alongside Patrick Holland, Cillian and Guy Heeley, and will be made in association with BBC Film.

Line Of Duty star Stephen announced earlier this week that he had signed on for the film when he spoke to Deadline at the London Film Festival.

The actor told Deadline that he is “looking forward to seeing the boys again” on Peaky Blinders.

He didn’t elaborate on his role in the new film, but he previously played Hayden Stagg in the sixth and final season of Steven Knight’s hit BBC series.

The British screenwriter, 65, recently spoke at the RTS London Convention about the “stunning” cast, noting that the film is set in World War II.

He teased what fans can expect, saying: “I’m excited to see the cameras rolling on this new chapter of the Peaky Blinders story, set during World War II.”
