Dragonball Sparks! ZERO confirms date and content of upcoming DLCs

It’s common for titles based on Akira Toriyama’s popular manga and anime to include a wealth of additional content, and Dragonball Sparks! ZERO will be no exception. Thanks to the game’s Steam page, we now know what to expect in the coming months… and even when.

The first of these content packs will be released as early as the first quarter of 2025 and will include characters from the movie ‘Dragon Ball Super: Superhero’. Meanwhile, the next two will feature characters and content from the new anime everyone is so excited about: ‘Dragon Ball Daima‘. These will be released in the first quarter of 2025 and the second quarter of 2025. Each pack can be purchased separately, but all three are part of the season pass included in the most expensive editions of the game, the Deluxe and Ultimate.

It’s not yet known what specific content will come with each of the DLCs, but the Season Pass artwork all but confirms that Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 will be among the 20 characters releasing in the coming months, as well as Orange Piccolo, Cell Max or Gohan Beast.

Dragonball Sparks! ZERO, the fan’s dream game

It’s not even officially out yet, and Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO has already been surpassed Dragon Ball FighterZ in terms of players, and that’s just those playing the game in Early Access. This just goes to show how eagerly anticipated Spike Chunsoft’s game was, and how the game’s preference for simpler combat is a far cry from the much deeper approach of Arc system works‘ title.
