According to police, more victims are likely to be reported in the Vizag honey trap case in the coming days

The Visakhapatnam police continue to unearth facts as part of the investigation into the honeytrap case allegedly involving a 27-year-old woman from Murali Nagar.

So far, two victims, one of whom is an NRI, have filed complaints against her at Bheemunipatnam and Kancharapalem police stations.

The city police also found that the suspect had filed a complaint at Prime Minister Palem Police Station against a youth in January this year, alleging that he had cheated her under the guise of love and marriage. The investigation into this case is ongoing.

However, on October 5, the same woman was arrested for allegedly cheating on someone under the pretext of marriage.

According to police, the suspects approached and befriended men who deceived them under the guise of love.

The suspect allegedly offered her victims cold drinks or juices laced with sedatives, and once they lost consciousness, she enlisted the help of her accomplices to take obscene photos with the victims. She would later blackmail the victims with those photos and extract money from them, police said.

Police expect more of her victims to emerge in the coming days.
