Former president and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump released an internal poll from his campaign that shows him ahead of the vice president and the Democratic nominee Kamala Harris in each swing state on Thursday.

This is evident from the memo from campaign researchers Tony Fabrizio And John McLaughlinTrump is up five points in Georgia (50%-45%), three in Arizona (49%-46%) and Nevada (48%-47%), and one point in Michigan (49%-48%), North Carolina (48%-47%), Pennsylvania (49%-48%) and Wisconsin (49%-48%).

“As you can clearly see, President Trump has a lead in all seven battleground states, including all of the Blue Wall states. This projected data would put President Trump at 312 electoral votes. Equally important, President Trump is at or close to 50% in virtually all of these states,” Fabrizio and McLaughlin wrote.

“Given today’s high inflation rates and Kamala Harris’ admission that she would not have changed or done anything but reduce inflation Joe Bidenwe expect that President Trump’s lead will only continue to strengthen,” they concluded.

While Trump is undoubtedly relieved to be higher according to his own pollsters, it is notable that every state except Georgia falls within the poll’s 3.5% margin of error.

While most surveys indicate the race is close to a deadlock, reports in recent days have indicated Harris’ team is growing increasingly nervous about its prospects.

A source close to the campaign told CNN that “a lot of us are having these flashbacks to 2016,” especially since Hillary Clinton lost to Trump, despite having a much larger lead in the polls at this point in the race eight years ago.

Veteran reporter Mark Halperinhas meanwhile warned that ‘robust’ private polling he has seen suggests Harris has ‘a problem’.

“The conversation I’m having with Trump people and Democrats with data are extremely optimistic about Trump’s chances over the last 48 hours. Extremely bullish,” Halperin said earlier this week. “What I’m telling you today is that she’s not doing well.”

Fabrizio and McLaughlin reached 800 likely voters in each state via landlines and cell phones between October 6 and 9.
