Awkward moment Tommy Fury refuses to comment on claims he cheated on Molly-Mae Haag as he is bombarded with questions in first TV interview since their dramatic split

Tommy Fury found himself in hot water when he appeared on This Morning on Thursday – in his first TV appearance since splitting from ex-fiancée Molly-Mae Haag.

The boxer, 25, and the influencer, also 25, split this summer, with Molly-Mae saying at the time that she didn’t think it would end like this.

Tommy spoke about difficult recent times on This Morning ahead of the release of his first memoir Lighting Can Strike Twice: My Life as a Fury – where he was bombarded with questions from hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard.

When Tommy brought up the accusation of cheating on Molly-Mae and his denial in the book, he simply said, “A lot of things have been exposed.

‘The whole world has seen what we’ve been through in the last few months, but yes, I added a final chapter (in the book) where I talked about all my feelings and how I felt during this time and to bring everyone up to date date.

The boxer, 25, and the influencer split this summer, with Molly-Mae saying at the time that she didn’t think it would end like this.

“It was tough, but you can read about that.”

The couple share daughter Bambi, 20 months.

He added, “Me, Molly and Bambi are a family unit, and we’re going to handle this privately.”

Asked if he would get back together with Molly because the pair and Bambi seem like a “great team,” he said: “Yes. Like I said, they’re my family and I love them until the day I die.

“There have been many critics, and there will be critics until the day I die.

‘Everyone will point the finger if there is a bandwagon to jump on. But ultimately, out of respect for Molly, and out of respect for myself and our relationship, I’ll let us deal with this as privately as possible.

“I’m just happy to be here today and talk about my book. I want to leave all that stuff to Molly and me, because we owe ourselves the respect for it.’

Despite some “tough times” following the couple’s split, Tommy insisted he is now “feeling good” and has completed his boxing training, promoted his book and cared for Bambi.

During his first interview since their split, Tommy told The Mail his side of the story last weekend, saying he “absolutely didn’t cheat on her.”

Over the summer, Molly-Mae shared the shocking news that she had split from fiancé Tommy after months of on-and-off speculation.

He said, ‘I feel good, I feel good. It doesn’t take a genius to understand that it’s been very hard for me. These have been very difficult times.

‘But I’m just finishing up my training and taking my daughter to ballet, swimming and messy play.

“I’ve just been keeping myself busy and I’m really excited to launch the book today.”

On the weekend IIn his first interview since their split, Tommy told The Mail his side of the story and said he “absolutely did not cheat on her.”

Tommy admitted: ‘It’s real love. Do I still love Molly? 100 percent. I will love her till my last breath.”

‘I know what I have to do to solve things. And that’s on me. No one but me can do that.’

Over the summer, Molly-Mae shared the shocking news that she had split from her fiancé Tommy after months of on and off speculation.

According to reports, Tommy had been dumped by her after he ‘cheated on her with a Danish woman he met’ while on holiday in North Macedonia.

Commenting on the rumours, he said: “All allegations made against me recently are completely false. The truth will come out in time and when it does, I think many people will regret their actions and unkind words.

‘What the public thinks is going on is not what is going on. It’s not something I expected, but it didn’t come out of nowhere. It’s something that’s happened before during all of this, but the only people who know what’s going on in our relationship are me and Molly.”

Meanwhile, Molly-Mae is focusing on her clothing line, which was tellingly launched last week MailOnline she was looking forward to a ‘new era’ in her life after the split.

In an exclusive interview, the influencer said she was feeling “emotional” but was putting all her energy into the couple’s one-year-old daughter, Bambi, and her new clothing line Maebe.

She said it had been a juggling act over the past six months and she was finding both parenting and running her existing business ‘difficult’.

But navigating the launch of her fashion label alongside the end of her five-year relationship has given Molly the chance to focus on the next chapter, as she admits: ‘It was really good timing for me to make this happen. It all fits perfectly.’

Molly told MailOnline: ‘When I became a mother I changed a lot as a person and several things became important to me in terms of fashion, it was the right time to launch Maebe. I was really ready to sink my teeth into something new.

“I feel really good about this new era in my life and think it’s going to be so special and amazing for me to focus on and invest my time in, in addition to being a mother to Bambi.

Despite some “tough times” following the couple’s split, Tommy insisted he is now “feeling good” and has completed his boxing training, promoted his book and cared for Bambi.

‘It was a very good moment for me to make this happen. It’s actually all perfectly coordinated. I’m so excited about it… I really feel great about the brand. I see that Maebe has a great future.’

She added, “I know that if I take the right steps with it and I do this right, I can really see it becoming really big and becoming one of those brands that everyone knows and that’s my dream and my goal.”

The launch of Molly’s brand has been three years in the making, after her plans were put on hold following Bambi’s birth in January 2023.

Last weekend, she opened her first-ever pop-up store where fans could experience the clothes before the 12-item drop goes on sale next Sunday night at 7 p.m.

It’s a milestone in Molly’s career after years of lending her name to brands like Beauty Works and PrettyLittleThing, where she even took on the role of creative director in 2021.
